Elie Kanaan
Vice President Marketing, EMEA, VMware

Elie Kanaan is the Vice President of Marketing for VMware in EMEA. In this role, Elie is responsible for implementing marketing strategies, driving business growth and expansion across the region.

Elie brings more than 20 years experience in sales, marketing, business development and general management in the technology industry to VMware, most recently as Vice President of Marketing for Business Objects, where he drove marketing and brand strategies across Europe.

Elie previously held the position of Vice President of Marketing at Mercury Interactive, where he helped grow European revenues ten-fold in eight years. Prior to this, Elie held several positions at Sybase and Oracle Corporation, spanning engineering, pre-sales, business development and marketing.

Elie holds an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Paris and a Master of Science from Stanford University, USA.
